Jeremy Shaverin is one of the UK’s most prolific performers of Brazilian music. A multi-instrumentalist and university lecturer based in London, Jeremy performs around the UK and internationally on percussion, cavaco, piano and vocals.

Jeremy’s compositions have been featured on Jazz FM and BBC Radio 3, and he has recorded for Globo TV and BBC TV.

He enjoys performing around the world, with recent shows including Paris, Coburg, Nitra and Glasgow, as well as playing in Rio de Janeiro’s carnival parade.

In 2019, Alvorada won ‘Best Group’ awards from LUKAS and Focus Brasil.
